Abstract

This research entitled implementation and obstacles of mining activity permits as an effort to protect the water quality of Bengawan Solo river in Bojonegoro Regency. The problem statement in this research is how implementation to manage mining activity permits as an effort to protect the water quality of Bengawan Solo river in Bojonegoro Regency and what is the obstacles experienced by the government Bojonegoro Regency in implementation to manage mining activity permits as an effort to protect the water quality of Bengawan Solo river in Bojonegoro Regency. The purpose of this study is to discover implementation to manage mining activity permits as an effort to protect the water quality of Bengawan Solo river in Bojonegoro Regency. The conclusion of this research are basically Bojonegoro Regency government has handled mining activity in accordance with the applicable procedure. The obstacles that have occurred so far have also been a solution, so that they can be resolved properly. However, mining businesses still do things that are actually prohibited and do not apply in accordance with applicable regulations. This has not been resolved properly, because there are still individuals who use heavy equipment and not traditional tools as they should be done and cause new problems and make the government more aggressively handling.
