Abstract
This research entitled The Strength of Proof of “Visum et Repertum” in Criminal Justice in Rape Cases in Yogyakarta Region. The problem of this research is “how the strength of proof of Visum et Repertum in Criminal Justice in Rape Cases in Yogyakarta Region? The purpose of this research’s to know the strength of proof of “Visum et Repertum” in criminal justice in rape cases in Yogyakarta region. The conclusions of this research is Visum et repertum as evidence cannot stand alone, that is the existence of other evidence used to indicate the existence of a criminal offense, besides Visum et Repertum has an important position in proving cases of rape because the Visum et Repertum can prove an element of the rape criminal act that is compulsion.
