Abstract

Prohibition of lodging related to mixed boarding in the area of Sleman regency regulated in Article 17 paragraph (1) every person in charge of boarding is prohibited from carrying out a boarding house that is inhabited by a different sex lodging in one building at location. This study aims to determine the factors causing ineffective Regional Regulations of Sleman Regency Number 9 Year 2007 Regarding Housing. To examine these thing, the researchers conducted research in the Civil Service Police Unit in Sleman Regency and the residents of the boarding house in Sleman Regency. This resarch is an empirical legal research condcuted by field study to obtain primary data wich is then supported by secondary data from library research. All data collected was analyzed using qualitative methodes. The results showed the Slemn Regency Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2007 concerning Housing is not effective because of facilties, community factors,Human Resources factors.
