Abstract

Many facts show that factories are the most dominant source of pollution, although in some reality other economic sectors also have a large enough share in damaging the environment. This situation is difficult to refute when seen in developed countries, which rely on industry as supporting the prosperity of the nation. The purpose of this study was to determine the legal aspects of preventing pollution of the environment due to palm oil mill effluent waste and to know the constraints and solutions to prevent environmental pollution from palm oil mill effluent. Research to be conducted is Empirical Law research. Which is research that focuses on social facts or an analysis of the findings of the literature has been briefly explained and on field research connects several social findings. palm oil mill liquid waste management PT. Mukomuko Indah Lestari as an effort to prevent environmental pollution in Mukomuko Regency is in accordance with the regulations governing liquid waste, namely Mukomuko District Regulation Number 11 of 2011 concerning Environmental Control and Management and Kep-51 / MENLH / 10/1995 appendix B-IV and Bengkulu Governor Decree Number 92 years 2001. The regulations governing liquid waste management need to be made specifically in Mukomuko District
