Abstract

This research entitled The Legal Review of Monopoly Practice and Unhealthy Business Rivalry in Poultry Farm in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The problem formulated in this research was whether the implementation of the business partnership in a poultry farm in Special Region of Yogyakarta can cause monopoly practice and unhealthy business rivalry or not. This research aims to know whether the implementation of the business partnership in a poultry farm in Special Region of Yogyakarta can cause monopoly practice and unhealthy business rivalry or not. This research concludes that the business partnership in a poultry farm in Special Region of Yogyakarta already going well following the principle of partnership so that monopoly practice and unhealthy business rivalry are not found as in The Act No.5 of 1999 about the Prohibition of Monopoly Practice and Unhealthy Business Rivalry. The problem of unstable prices in the market caused by the chicken sellers that easily establishing the price because there is no reference for them from Rules from The Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia No. 96 of 2018 about the Price Reference for The Farmer and Price Reference for The Consumer. Suggestion from this research is that the government should revise Rules from The Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia No. 96 of 2018 about the Price Reference For The Farmer and Price Reference for The Consumer about the arrangement of the price reference for chicken sellers so that there is no party be harmed, then government also should increase their performance in conducting the training and control in the implementation of poultry farm business so that it can go well and also the company should give the chance for the poultry farmer as the partner to choose and know certainly about the quality of the livestock production tool that will be given to the poultry farmer.
