Abstract

The user interface and user experience are important in making a system or application to attract user interest. But there are still some complaints from users about the K24Klik application and some of these complaints are related to the user interface and user experience of the K24Klik application. Therefore the management asked the K24Klik application development team to improve the K24Klik system so that research was carried out to help K24Klik to improve the K24Klik user interface and user experience according to user needs. The method used in this research is User Centered Design which will be assisted by usability testing and a system usability scale. This study resulted in an evaluation of the old design through usability testing and a system usability scale questionnaire where the old design evaluation obtained a success rate of 70%, when compared with the average success rate obtained by 78%, the learnability value of K24Klik is categorized as bad , the time based efficiency is 0.064 goals / sec where the time is 2.92 times longer than the expert so that the K24Klik application users are said to be normal, the error rate is 0.48125 total defects, when compared to the average error rate of 0 70 total defects can be categorized as small , and the SUS calculation is 63.83%, which means that the K24Klik application gets grade D. In addition, this research will produce an analysis of system requirements both functional and nonfunctional, design of new designs as recommendations for improvements based on system requirements analysis, and evaluation results of new designs.
