Abstract

Previous studies have shown that gender, age, and income have an influence on investment decisions. These studies also pointed that both risk-taking and confidence level are also affected by these variables. This paper aims to prove the correctness of these statements. To be added, this research also attempts to seek whether there is a connection between risk-taking level and confidence level. The method used in this research was quantitative research by means of questionnaire. The result of this research is based on the analysis from stock investors which are gathered from stock galleries in both Solo and Yogyakarta.
