Abstract
Social media makes everyone wherever they are always want to be shared to their social media, even when in the hospital though there is already a ban on taking pictures in the hospital, therefore it relates to the doctors' obligations in keeping medical secrets. Not only the hospital visitors who violate it, but medical students also ignore the ban. This study aims to understand law enforcement to medical students (coass) as a perpetrator of medical secret violations. This study uses a normative legal research method, which focuses on statutory regulations so that the thought process is used deductively. The results of this study indicate that against students who violate the secret of medical can also be required to be responsible for the deeds in accordance with the law and regulation to maintain medical secrets, namely Article 322 of the Criminal Code about prohibition to unlock the secrets of the position, Article 3 letter b of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 1966 about Must Keep Medical Secrets and Article 4 paragraph (2) letter f of the Minister of Health Minister Number 36 of 2012 about Medical Secrets. Sanctions in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 1966 do not provide criminal sanctions but only administrative sanctions.
