Abstract

Efforts to protect and fulfill children's rights are the government's obligation. This effort done by making regulations on the protection of children's rights and making programs to fulfill children's rights. The local government of Banjarnegara Regency has made these efforts, especially for child victims of sexual violence. The P2TP2A data of Banjarnegara district states that child victims of sexual violence tend to decline, but that does not mean that cases of sexual violence are gone. Therefore, it is necessary to protect and fulfill children's rights more seriously, especially the rights to develop and develop children. The goal is to prevent children from the effects of sexual violence. This research was conducted using empirical legal research methods and the sampling method was purposive sampling. This research provides evidence that efforts to protect the rights of children's development have been carried out in accordance with existing regulations. However, its implementation still has obstacles, such as a lack of commitment by the local government, unfulfilled facilities, and the not yet implemented KLA program.
