Abstract
ackground of legal writing was made because of the custom of the customary community or indigenous people to open land for farming and gardening which could cause land fires. To avoid this, it is necessary to carry out supervision by the local government regarding licensing through policies set by the local government. Based on the background of the problem, the formulation of the problem is How the Implementation of Local Government Supervision of Land Burning Permits in Tumbang Nusa Village, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency? and whether the Central Kalimantan Provincial Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning Land Fire Control has been implemented.The Tumbang Nusa Village Government has made efforts to monitor land burning permits, namely by conducting socialization and patrols
