Abstract
The title of this writing is Implementation of Environmental Education to Build Awareness at the Elementary School Level in Klaten Selatan District. Environmental Education has an important role for life, both through theory and implementation. Besides knowledge, it’s believed that environmental education may create a clean, comfortable and safe environment for human life. The existing Environmental Education needs to be seen whether it has been implemented well or not. Elementary school has become one of the places to implement environmental education from an early age. The purpose of this study is to learn the implementation of environmental education at the elementary school level in the South Klaten District and also to understand the conversations and solutions related to the implementation of environmental education at the elementary school level in the South Klaten District. The legal research method used is empirical with the data analysis method that is descriptive qualitative. The result of the study is that the implementation of environmental education at the elementary school level in South Klaten. District is still lacking.
