Abstract
The title of this research is Preventive program from Bantul Children’s Forum to prevent physical violence towards kids. The purpose of this research is to know the preventive liability towards kids who are included in physical violence victims by Bantul Children’s Forum. The type of law research which is used in this research is normative or doctrinal law research. Preventive liability towards children who are included in physical violence victims which is carried out by Bantul Children’s Forum in this case gave legal protection which is connected with preventive activity towards crime occurence with varied type of activities with Bantul Social Service Department and Bantul Children’s Forum which is located in Bantul District, but, in fact, out of five sub-districts which are used as research sample, there are children’s forum which are no longer active and have no activity. Those are Sewon and Banguntapan sub-district. Three Sub-district Children’s forum which have already been created become sub-district Children’s Forums are still not running the duties to prevent crimes. This is proven by high level of crime and victims which are still categorized as kids in Kasihan Sub-District. The total amount of victims who are still categorized as kids proves that Bantul Children’s Forum is still not running the duties in full capacity. This happened because the total amount of board members in Bantul Children’s Forum is not proportional with the needs in the district, Bantul Children’s Forum members which still don’t understand the duties written in Bantul Regional Regulation number 3 in 2018about the implementation of child’s protection. Inactive Sub-District Child’s Forum is also affected because there are no pecified budgets for Sub-District Children’s Forum.
