Abstract

The state of Indonesia is a country that upholds law enforcement and human rights, as the law and human rights are related to one another. Along with the current rise of globalization and the increasingly modern information in this age, people are faced with a problem that is also increasingly diverse, one of the problems about sexual harassment. The author in this case raised a formulation of the problem i.e. whether the implementation of legal protection for women victims of sexual harassment has been in accordance with the rules of Law Number 31 of 2014 for amendment for Law Number 13 of 2006 on Protection of witnesses and victims. The purpose of this writing is to determine the implementation of legal protection for women victims of sexual harassment under law Number 31 of 2014 for the amendment of Law Number 13 of 2006 on witness and victim protection. The conclusion that the authors get from this problem is the implementation of legal protection for victims of sexual harassment already in accordance with the law Number 31 year 2014 for the amendment of Law Number 13 year 2006 on witness and victim protection, and the applied rules were seen from who was the victim if the victims were the child then used is the Child Protection Act but if the victim is an adult, then used the code of Criminal law. The author also has advice on criminal acts of sexual arassment, with more attention to the issue of criminal acts of sexual harassment and there must be a specific act of legislation governing sexual harassment.
