Abstract
The problem in this research is the many problems regarding sea water pollution in Batam waters which are caused from various aspects, the biggest cause is the amount of oil that pollutes batam waters, the oil is mostly caused by ship collisions and the uncontrolled disposal of oil in the sea, which it is prohibited by the local and central government because it can cause adverse impacts on the marine ecosystem because of the declining quality of the sea water. this research is expected to improve the marine ecosystem and the quality of the seawater so that healthy water for living creatures can be created.
