Abstract

Investigation of criminal acts in the food sector requires the role of stakeholders, in this case the National Police and the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency. In its implementation, coordination between stakeholders is sometimes not carried out well. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the implementation of the investigation process of criminal cases in the food sector at the Shoun Pi Sinar Cirebon Factory and the obstacles in the process of investigating criminal acts in the food sector. at the Shoun Pi Sinar Cirebon Factory. This research was conducted using the normative method so that this research focuses on positive law. The thought process in this research uses deductive reasoning method. The results of the research that have been carried out by the author are (1) The investigation of criminal cases in the food sector against the Shoun Pi Sinar Cirebon Factory does not comply with the provisions of Law Number 18 of 2012 concerning Food and Regulation of the Head of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2019 concerning Research Criminals and (2) investigating criminal cases in the food sector against the Shoun Pi Sinar Cirebon Factory have not experienced any problems.
