Abstract

This research is entitled Implementation of Green Open Space Provision Based on Klaten Regency Regional Regulation Number 11 Year 2011 concerning Klaten Regency Spatial Planning 2011-2031 in Klaten Regency. Based on Klaten Regency Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2011 concerning the Spatial Plan for Klaten Regency 2011-2031, the minimum area of Green Open Space in Klaten Regency is 30% of the total area, while 2015 data in Regency Klaten only reaches 20%. Therefore, the authors conducted research with the formulation of the problem of how to provide green open space based on Klaten Regency Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2011 concerning Klaten Regency Spatial Planning 2011-2031 in Klaten Regency and the constraints for the Government in providing the Green Open Space which aims to know the facts of the provision of green open spaces in the district and to find out the obstacles in providing green open spaces for the government. This type of research is an empirical research, conducted by interviewing and collecting written data from sources. The content of this research is that until 2020 the percentage of green open spaces in Klaten Regency has not met the minimum requirements of the Klaten Regency Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2011 concerning the Spatial Plan for Klaten Regency 2011-2031, which is only 4.19% covering an area of 839,807 HA of the total area. the urban area is 20,018 HA. This happens because limited land is the main obstacle for the Government in expanding the Green Open Space.
