Abstract

The title of this Law Writing is about Diversion Efforts against Children Who Commit Violence Together on the Streets. The purpose of writing this law is to find out what kind of justice for children and legal protection given to children who commit abuse on the streets. The research method in Legal Writing is normative legal research, which is research that focuses on positive legal norms in the form of Laws and Regulations and in this study requires secondary data as the main data. The results of his research are the application of diversion efforts against children who commit violence together on the streets since the Police investigation stage, the prosecution stage by the Prosecutor and the Judge's decision stage. Whereas in child criminal responsibility there is still no common opinion between Police Investigators, Public Prosecutors and Judges. This difference is due to the fact that investigators and public prosecutors in implementing punishment refer to the articles which incriminate the defendant as regulated in the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law. However, it is different with the Judge who has the belief and facts at the trial.
