Abstract
In the 1945 Constitution that children's rights are part of human rights, besides that children's rights are also contained in the United Nations convention on children's rights. Children are the future of the nation and the successor to the ideals of the nation's ancestors, so that every child has the right to continue to grow, live and develop, participate and have the right to get protection from acts of violence and discrimination as well as civil and national rights. According to the Narcotics Law Number 35 of 2009. Narcotics are substances or drugs derived from plants or non-plants, both synthetic and semi-synthetic. Which can cause a decrease or change in consciousness. Loss of taste, reduce to relieve pain and can cause dependence Legal research carried out in writing this law is empirical legal research. Empirical legal research is research that focuses on social facts. This research was conducted directly to the parties related to the Narcotics abuse case in adolescents in Medan City
