Abstract

Bengawan Solo River repeatedly emits unpleasant odors and color differences during the dry season, this happens because the river is polluted for several reasons, one of which is liquid waste originating from the batik industry in Pilang Village which produces waste from production which is directly disposed of into the stream. river. The conclusion from the above is that the Environmental Service of Sragen City has made several efforts in waste management so that it does not pollute the river but it has been hindered by several obstacles that have resulted in the government's efforts not maximized. The method used by the author is the empirical method, namely research focuses on social facts and research is carried out directly on the respondent to obtain primary data which is supported by secondary data consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials.
