Abstract

Airsoft Gun is a sport that can be classified reaction shoot sports. Comparison between the firearms used by members of the uniformed services with Airsoft Gun 1: 1. The difference between the two types of weapons can be seen from materials and bullets that were used. Abuse airsoft gun will have greater impact is that when used as a tool to do crimes that disrupt public order and security. The purpose of this research is to determine the conditions a person can own and use Airsoft guns from police and law enforcement by the Police DIY to the use of airsoft gun that does not comply with regulations. This study uses the methods of normative research that focuses on norms (law in books) and this study requires secondary data (substantive law) as the primary data. Sources of data used in the form of primary legal materials, namely Act No. 2 of 2002 on the Police of the Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 12/Drt/1951 about guns Fire and Police Decree No. Pol. : Skep / 82 / II / 2004 dated February 16, 2004 concerning the supervision and control of firearms and ammunition the police non-organic TNI / Police. While the sources of secondary data obtained by research in the field through a phase of interviews with informants and respondents as well as legal materials obtained from the legal opinion, books, articles, siterelated problems to be studied. Based on research by the author, Yogyakarta police jurisdiction has yet to find any abuse of airsoft gun. Nevertheless, recording errors and differences in the identity / history about the ownership of airsoft guns are still common.
