Abstract

Republic of Indonesia was successful to hold arrangement renewal in citizenship along with commence of Rules Number 12 of 2006 on Republic of Indonesia’s Citizenship in 1 August 2006 to replace Rules Number 62 of 1958 on Republic of Indonesia’s Citizenship. Republic of Indonesia’s people judged that Rules Number 62 of 1958 on Republic of Indonesia’s Citizenship was no longer suitable with Indonesian people’s law needs both in national context as well as global context. The commence of Rules Number 12 of 2006 in Republic of Indonesia’s citizenship had also aligned problems on Republic of Indonesia’s citizenship status process gain for mixed-marriage children. To know what problems that had been aligned in Republic of Indonesia’s citizenship status gain for the mixed- marriage children, it was needed understanding by reading Rules Number 12 of 2006 on Republic of Indonesia’s Citizenship, and then compared with Rules Number 62 of 1958 on Republic of Indonesia’s Citizenship.
