Abstract
This thesis research aims to answer the problem regarding the role of the Land Office in Preventing Illegal Charges in Complete Systematic Land Registration in Bantul Regency. The second problem in writing this thesis is to answer the obstacles and solutions faced by the Land Office in Preventing Illegal Charges in Complete Systematic Land Registration in Bantul Regency. The type of research used in the research is empirical legal research, namely research conducted directly on respondents and sources as primary data as the main data, the data obtained are analyzed qualitatively, namely the analysis is carried out by understanding and compiling the data collected systematically to draw conclusions using inductive thinking methods. Based on the results of the study that the role of the Land Office in Preventing Illegal Charges in Complete Systematic Land Registration in Bantul Regency is participatory, although there are still obstacles due to the limited role of the external land office in conducting interventions to supervise the occurrence of illegal levies on the implementation of Complete Systematic Land Registration. in Bantul Regency. In overcoming these obstacles, the Land Office carried out socialization activities and improved complaint services to minimize the occurrence of illegal levies on Complete Systematic Land Registration in Bantul Regency.
