Abstract
The river flow is an area that is often used as a location for sand mining. The Serayu River Stream, Banyumas Regency is one of the watersheds used as a sand mining location to date. This sand mining activity certainly has an impact, especially on the environment. The impacts that arise are in the form of positive impacts and negative impacts. The purpose of writing this law is to find out the supervision of the Environmental Service on the impact of sand mining activities in the Serayu River Basin, Banyumas Regency. The methodology used in this research is inductive thinking methodology. The results of the study indicate that the Environmental Service has carried out supervision in accordance with its authority, but it has not been maximized because it sees other impacts that arise such as economic impacts and social impacts
