Abstract
This article aims to obtain data on how to punish perpetrators of sexual v iolence within the framework of prov iding legal protection to v ictims. This article uses normativ e research method with a statutory approach and a comparativ e approach using the positiv ist legis concept.The analy sis of legal materials in this article uses qualitativ e analy sis techniques that perform interpretation of law by interpreting data into data that is structured concisely . In the end, the results of this method are described in the form of words to draw conclusions on the problem of sexual v iolence. By drawing conclusions, deductiv e conclusions are drawn that are specific in nature as an answer to the problem of sexual v iolence.
