Abstract
The purpose of this research was to find out whether the different types of work motivation employees stated in their work were affected by sector, job, gender, and education, and to assess how the various types of motivation are linked to life satisfaction. This research involved the participation of 128 employees – 68 in the private sector and 60 in the public sector. Furthermore, this research uses Univariate Analysis. The result show that there is no comparison between work motivation and life satisfaction of employees who work in public and private services. Because, based on the results of the employee’s motivation of RSI Amal Sehat is higher than RSUD dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro, meanwhile the life satisfaction of RSUD dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro’s employees higher than RSI Amal Sehat.
