Abstract

Land is a place for basic human needs where humans can live and develop as natural resources that meet human needs. Humans have an inherent relationship with the land. Land is a promising investment product because land prices are increasing over time. Bekasi is one of the cities in West Java which has a dense population. The small land area is not proportional to the population. The sale and purchase of vacant land which is used as an investment product is often carried out, it turns out that land administration becomes disorderly. One of them is the occurrence of double certificates of land ownership that occurred in Simpangan Village, Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency. Based on Article 24 paragraph (7) of the Regulation of the Head of the National Land Agency Number 11 of 2016 stipulates that the National Land Agency has the authority to resolve dual certificate cases. The aim of this research is to find out the form of authority of the National Land Agency in the case of dual certificates of land.
