Abstract

Terrorism is an extraordinary crime for the whole world. If intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism continue to occur without effective prevention efforts from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia then it is feared that it could threaten the sovereignty of a country in the future. By instilling the spirit of patriotism from an early age, of course, you can anticipate the entry of radicalism in children. The Government of Indonesia in carrying out its duty to eradicate terrorism, especially against children, cannot walk alone, all elements below it including the Local Government must play an active role in helping the duty of the Government of the State of Indonesia to eradicate terrorism. In this case, the author is interested in reviewing the implementation of Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Klaten tentang Perlindungan Anak in tackling terrorism in children in Klaten Regency, Central Java. The author was interested in the theme because there was a case about principals, teachers, and students who were exposed to the teachings of radicalism as a seed of terrorism in a school located in Klaten Regency of Central Java. The research methods used in this thesis is normative research. The normative research reviewing secondary data consisting of primary legal materials and secondary law. The data will be analyzed qualitatively, and will be concluced by the method of deductive thinking.
