Abstract
This study was motivated by the implementation of the granting of land ownership certificates for transmigration in realizing legal certainty in the Dumoga Utara District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi Province. The purpose of this study is to find out how the process of granting land ownership certificates for transmigration in realizing legal certainty in the Dumoga Sub-district. The problem statement taken in this research is how the implementation of the granting of land ownership certificates for transmigration in realizing legal certainty in North Dumoga Sub-district, Bolaang Mongondow District, North Sulawesi Province. The legal research used is empirical research or also called field research which focuses on the existence of field data as the main data source, namely the results of the interviews. The conclusion of the study is that the transmigrants in the Mopuya and Mopugad Villages, North Dumoga Sub-district, had received land ownership certificates from the land provided by the government; but, some transmigrants trade transmigrant’s land that could not be sold by way of underhand transactions so that the land could not be used as the basis for ownership. The government should better monitor the land given to transmigrants so that legal consequences will not occur in the future.
