Abstract

Palm oil is one of the biggest commodity in several county in indonesia, the production of palm oil in Indonesia is currently experiencing a rapid increase as the development of industrial technology is increasing every year, making many business doers or palm oil companies to grow in Indonesia. Palm oil production produces waste that if not managed properly will cause environmental pollution.. Research that uses empirical methods is research conducted focusing on social facts by collecting data on interviews. The results of the research obtained, the leaking of IPAL pool owned by PT. Inti Indosawit Subur. In its management PT.Inti Indosawit Subur has been going well but not yet maximal because there are still pools that leak due to high rainfall that cause rivers and water habitats get polluted. The suggestions given include that the company and the Pelalawan district Environmental agency should be more focused and conduct periodic checks related to the waste produced.
