Abstract

Article 1 Chicago Convention 1944 stated : "The contracting state recognice the every state has complete and exclusive sovereignty in the airspace above its territory. " This article is based of State Sovereignty in national air space area where Contracting States or not have equal Sovereignty. In the other hand, fact of the law is a part of Indonesian air space can not impelemented its sovereignty fully on its air space by Singapore concerning with Flight Information Region. This research with normative research. The data of research were collected by library. andi feld research. The data were analyzed by qualitative method. The position of Indonesian all along equator line and that position as connecting area and be located in crosswise position between two continents and two oceans extend natural condition and strategic in the very high value. Regulation over a part of Indonesian air space by Flight Information Region (FIR) Singapore can raise many problems in sovereignty implementation that decrease benefit in the political .aspect, economic aspect, and defense and safety aspect.
