Abstract
At this time there were many cases of criminal acts of crime, especially criminal acts of abuse of sharp weapons among the general public. Not a few cases of criminal acts of abuse of sharp weapons among minors, especially among teenagers According to Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, minors who are proven to have committed criminal acts must go through diversion efforts, namely the transfer of the settlement of children's cases from the criminal justice process to processes outside of criminal justice. This research is a type of normative legal research, supported by primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the research and discussion that the authors have made, it can be concluded that the implementation of diversion that the implementation of diversion in restorative justice in the Juvenile Criminal Justice System is the transfer of the settlement of children's cases from the criminal justice process to a process outside a fair criminal justice with an emphasis on restoring back to its original state, and not retaliation. In addition, diversion is a form of punishment that has aspects of education for children.
