Abstract

This Legal Memorandum, with title "Legal Protection for the People of Muara Asa Village, Barong Tongkok District, Kutai Barat Regency, East Kalimantan Province Against Ngahan River Pollution Due to Coal Mining Activities by PT Kencana Wilsa discusses and analyzes the rights of the people of Muara asa village and compensation and restoration of ngahan river water quality. The ngahan river is the main need of the Muara Asa village community, the ngahan river is polluted and cannot be used because of the coal mining activities by PT Kencana Wilsa, so this Legal Memorandum provides a solution regarding the rights of the Muara asa village community and compensation and restoration of the water quality of the ngahan river. The people of Muara asa village are Indonesian citizens so they are entitled to a good living environment.
