Abstract

Forests play a crucial role in supporting national development. One problem with forests in Indonesia is the occurrence of forest fires. The forest fire was made by those who decided to open up fields because burning the fields was considered to be the most inexpensive and laborious way to save time and energy. Environmental pollution from forest fires is unavoidable in Indonesian, and it can even affect political relationships between neighbors. This forest fire case has become almost an annual disaster in Indonesian, especially in the dry season. During the period of 2016-2021 there was a forest fire in the west Borneo province as the lungs of the world. The effects of bushfires or land fires can cause a variety of losses ranging from health problems to existing ecosystems in forests. So the thesis was to identify the roles and constraints of the environment service in forest fire control as a result of the opening of the fields in the celestial district. The method used in this study is the study of empirical law. This is done by collecting primary data supported by secondary data of primary legal materials, secondary legal and tertiary material.
