Abstract

Condition of urban transport in Indonesia, at the moment impressed has not been arranged carefully, the service performance unable to adequate. Remembers the importance of the role of urban transport, and obsolence reality still condition of service at the moment, hence to realize improvement of service performance of urban transport with demand rate, hence need to be studied existence of service standard of urban transport in Indonesia. Research in compilation of service standard of urban transport this entangles all side related to operation urban transport like passenger, urban bus operator, regulator and the side of other traffic consumer. Research is done in various town measures. Research result expected able to become a manual in giving service of minimum standard to public, on the chance of urban transport creates a reliable service and reached so that can lessen dependency of public to privat vehicle.
