Abstract

All businesses are required to have an Environmental Management Statement (SPPL), for example, a beauty salon business but in practice there are some beauty salon business actors who do not have SPPL. So the author raised the title " Environmental Management Statement (SPPL) by beauty salon Business as an Effort to Prevent Environmental Pollution in Yogyakarta City". As for the formulation of the problem, how is the implementation of SPPL by the beauty salon business as an effort to prevent environmental pollution in the city of Yogyakarta and what are the obstacles and solutions in the implementation of SPPL by beauty salons as an effort to prevent environmental pollution in Yogyakarta City. The author uses empirical legal research methods. Based on the results of the study, the author concluded that first, SPPL by beauty salon Actors in Yogyakarta City has not run well and optimally because there are still beauty salon businesses that do not have SPPL. Second, the Yogyakarta City Environment Agency still lacks the budget to conduct socialization or counseling to all beauty salon business actors in Yogyakarta City. Furthermore, from beauty salon business actors who do not have an IMB because the place is still rented, thus making business actors not meet the requirements for registering SPPL
