Abstract

Socialization is an activity to conduct construction of constructed society. Socialization is based on institutionalization system and the construction way of which is the last part of socialization system in criminal judicature system, behaves as system, thus socialization is an arrangement concerning on the direction and limitation and also the system of construction of socialization based on Pancasila of which is cohesively conducted between the officers, constructed, and society. The prisoner of narcotic in Sleman Socialization Institution has to be given specific and guidance and construction differently to the prisoners of other criminal act. The effort of providing specific construction to the prisoners of narcotic user is a duty of the Sleman Socialization Institution, based on the Law Number 12 of 1995 on Socialization of which has function as a construction site, in the shape of social rehabilitation. This research was descriptive empirical research, and the location of this research is in Sleman Socialization Institution. The type of data used was primary and secondary data. The technique of data collection used was through observation, interview, and literary research, either by the shape of literatures, regulations, documents et cetera. The data analysis used qualitative data analysis by deductive reasoning method. The barrier in the conduction of construction for narcotic prisoners in Sleman Socialization Institution is there still often happen narcotic distribution in Sleman Socialization Institution. The author submits suggestion to the officers in Sleman Socialization Institution in order to be more precisely in supervising the influx and outflow of items from Socialization Institution into Sleman Socialization Institution for preventing the happenings of narcotic distribution in Sleman Socialization Institution.
