Abstract

This legal writing is en titled “ factors causing murder crimes and efforts to solve them in Ngawi District “. Problem of this legal writing are factors causing murder crimes in Ngawi District and how to overcome term crimes solve these problem the writer made a research using empirical method. The data were collected by interviewing AKP Sujarwanto, SH as Kasat Reskrim Polres Ngawi. The data were analyzed by inductive method. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that there are two factors causing murder crimes in Ngawi Distrtict. General and special factor. General factors are background of education, economic, age, and sex. Wherever special factors are insanity, jealousies, vengeance, heritage conflicts, shyies, serious poverty. Efforts to overcome murder crimes carried out by the police of Ngawi District are preventive and repressive efforts. Preventive efforts are legal socialization, to increase Poskamling ( Mobile Security Post ) and banner placement. Repressive efforts the law enforcement is according to regulation. It is recommended that education should be increase, legal socialization should be given to society and legal institutions, should enforce the law properly.
