Abstract

This legal writing/minithesis concerns on “The Role of Regional Government of Belu Regency in Order to Manage the Ex-Refugees of Timor Leste in Its Relation Towards The Implementation of Attending Task” contain the problem of how the role of Regional Government of Belu Regency in managing the ex-refugees of Timor Leste, what factors become the barriers and the efforts conducted by Regional Government of Belu Regency. The method of research used in this legal writing/minithesis was empirical legal research and the method of data analysis used was qualitative analysis. The purpose of this research was to now the role of Regional Government of Belu Regency in managing the ex-refugees of Timor Leste, and the factors become barriers and the efforts conducted by Regional Government of Belu Regency. The result of this legal writing/minithesis is the Regional Government of Belu Regency has taken the role in managing the refugees of Timor Leste in its relation towards the implementation of Attending Task/Medebewind. The suggestion of the author in order the Government of Belu can keep the mandate of Central Government of which is given through attending task and keep maintain the result achieved and keep strive for achieving the more maximal result thus there is even distribution between local society and ex-refugees of Timor Leste.
