Abstract
The purpose of writing this thesis is to be able to see how the regulations are related to the compensation refund in the event of a loss experienced by crypto custumers. In Indonesia itself, Crypto is a digital currency that can only be used as an investment instrument. Crypto assets are a type of commodity that can be traded in Indonesia. In crypto trading activities, custumers certainly need legal protaction regrading the funds they have. BAPPEBTI plays a role in determining regulations regarding futures market activity. BAPPEBTI has an important role in terms of supervising, either directly or indirectly the course of transactions in the futures market. BAPPEBTI issues regulation regrading compensation for every custumer who suffers losses due to negligence of the Future Broker. This research was conducted by processing data from existing regulations, such as BAPPEBTI regulations, laws, journals, and theses from previous authors. By processing this data, it will be possible to see which elements qualify for compensation funds for crypto customers who losses. In the results of this study, it can be seen that related to compensation funds are only intended for customers who suffer losses due to default on Futures Brokers who have a business entity license as a Futures Broker from the Head of BAPPEBTI or whose business license has been revoked with evidence that they have been subject to administrative sanctions in the form of revocation of business license by BAPPEBTI.
