Abstract

Toovercome the spread of covid-19, the Indonesian government has made a health protocol that requires every Indonesian to wear a mask in carrying out activities. Masker that is often used by the people of Indonesia, is a disposable mask. Masks are important for the daily life of the Indonesian people during the covid-19 era. Although it is importantthat making individuals or communities safe can be a threat. Therefore, the author is interested in researching to research on "Prevention of the Impact of Disposable Mask Waste on the Environment and Health After the Implementation of Health Protocols in Sleman Regency (Case Study of Puskesmas Depok III)". How is the prevention carried out against disposable mask waste and its obstacles in carrying out prevention. This writing uses empirical research methods. Based on the results of the study, the authors concluded that first, the prevention of the impact of disposable waste was carried out properly, but not optimally. Theplight is carried out through appeals and campaigns to the community. Collecting data on disposable mask waste that is accommodated will be entered into the "limidcop" application. Second, the prevention rate has not been carried out optimally, because where the personnel who are afraid of collecting will be exposed to or exposed to Covid-19 when taking Disposable Mask Waste and sometimes negligent, where the officers of the Depok III Health Center do not spray disinfectant or tear the disposable mask after use.
