Abstract

Waste reduction carried out by the Depok City Environment and Forestry Service as an effort to prevent environmental pollution prevention in Depok City has been running according to the rule of law but has not been optimal. The constraints of DLHK Depok City in reducing waste so that waste reduction in Depok City has not been optimal are caused by several obstacles, namely the lack of public awareness in implementing a minimal waste lifestyle and also because there is no budget and program in fulfilling facilitation that supports waste reduction to the community such as facilities in developing and utilizing household waste into a product of creativity, marketing of recycled products, and reuse of waste and also. In Waste Reduction in Depok City, the author provides advice on providing direction to the community to reduce the use of household products that later have the potential to become waste, providing budgets and programs in fulfilling the fulfillment of facilitation that supports waste reduction to the community, such as facilities in developing and utilizing household waste into a product of creativity, and providing a forum in marketing the results of these creative products.
