Abstract
The duty of Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia in gathering data and information about child as the subject and victim criminal act. The purpose is to find out Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia’s duty in that case and the obstacles. The research mehodology used in this field is normative law which focused on positive law norm. The source used in this method is primary law in the form of statutory regulations And secondary law, while the data gathering technique used is library study. The research used deductive law in analyzing the data which began from statutory regulations and ended in a certain conclusion. In gathering data and information, KPAI has not performing well because they only got the data from 5(five) newspaper. The obstacle in gathering data and information about child as the subject and victim act is because the obstacle in realizing networking and related parties, which appeared as the first obstacle in publishing KPAI to society.
