Abstract

In Indonesia, crimes of sexual violence do not only occur in adults but child also become victims of sexual violence. Child victims of sexual violence cannot be separated from trauma due to sexual violence because it has damaged them physically, mentally and socially. As regulated in the Sexual Violence Act Number 12 of 2022, every child victim of sexual violence has rights, one of which is the right to recover. The form of remedy offered is the rehabilitation of victims of sexual violence, which is also regulated in Law on the Juvenile Justice System No. 11 of 2012, which states that the only effort that can be made for child victims is rehabilitation. In this life, everyone is inseparable from justice for their lives, as well as children who are victims of sexual violence. They certainly need and expect justice. This thesis will discuss whether the rehabilitation of children who are victims of sexual violence has achieved justice using normative research. The result of this study is that through the rehabilitation of children who are victims of sexual violence. They have received justice as long as the rights of the child are not violated. Suggestions from the author, to prioritize and not put aside the rights of children who are victims of sexual violence and provide intensive assistance for children who are victims of sexual violence so they don't feel alone, shunned, ostracized and get back sexual violence because they get intimidation from society in the victim's environment.
