Abstract
How to implement air quality protection from pollution due to motor vehicles in Medan City What are the obstacles and solutions in protecting air quality from pollution due to motor vehicles in Medan City. To find out how to implement air quality protection from pollution due to motorized vehicles in Medan City. To find out what are the obstacles and solutions in protecting air quality from pollution caused by motorized vehicles in Medan City. The type of research that will be carried out is empirical legal research, namely legal research that focuses on the behavior of the legal community. This research was conducted directly to respondents as the main data was carried out with secondary data consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary law. The implementation of air quality protection from pollution due to motorized vehicles in Medan City has not gone well, this is because people are apathetic in implementing regulations regarding air quality protection from motor vehicles. In protecting air quality from pollution due to motorized vehicles in Medan City, there are several obstacles, namely the apathetic community in implementing the rules regarding air quality protection of motorized vehicles and also the absence of legal rules regarding air quality protection in Medan City, so there are still many motorcyclists who do not obey the existing rules and cause and effect losses to the environment due to air pollution.
