Abstract

This research is motivated by the occurrence of several suspensions and force delisting of shares carried out by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in capital market activities in Indonesia. There are many factors behind the suspension and forced delisting, one of which is when the issuer experiences conditions that significantly negatively impact the company's business continuity and the company is unable to show adequate indications of recovery. However, this will certainly be detrimental to investors who already have capital participation in the form of shares in the company, therefore this study aims to find out how the OJK functions in providing legal protection for investors against suspension and forced delisting by the IDX against PT Envy Technologies. This research is normative legal research. Based on the results of research on legal protection by the OJK for investors, it is divided into 2 (two), namely preventive legal protection in the form of regulations, education, and outreach, then repressive legal protection in the form of administrative actions that can be carried out by the OJK against companies in the form of business termination and investigation.
