Abstract

Entikong is a sub-district located in Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. Entikong is a border area between Indonesia and Malaysia, but even though it is a border area with a magnificent PLBN, Entikong is still underdeveloped or underdeveloped compared to other regions in Indonesia because the handling of problems in the Entikong area is still relatively old and underdeveloped. The Entikong PLBN is the first PLBN in Indonesia and began operating on October 1, 1989. The Entikong PLBN itself is located on Jalan Lintas Malindo, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. As for the application regarding the security of the entry of goods from abroad in Entikong the Border Region of Malaysia-Indonesia, there are several obstacles to implementing security for the entry of goods from abroad in the Entikong Border Region of Malaysia-Indonesia. This research method uses empirical research, legal research that focuses on social facts by using secondary data and primary data on respondents who are carried out directly. The results of research on the Application of Security for the Entry of Goods from Overseas in Entikong, the Border Region of Malaysia-Indonesia as an effort to minimize or even prevent the illegal entry of goods. The author suggests that security regarding the entry of goods be tightened again as appropriate.
