Abstract

Snacks are very popular with many people, both children and adults. Snacks that are sold must also be healthy and have a distribution permit, but in the Province of DIY found snacks that are unhealthy and do not have a distribution permit, so there is a need for supervision and law enforcement so that DIY people who buy snacks feel safe in consuming snacks. circulation. This research is a normative legal research that examines the law written in the Legislation. The results of the study show that the role of BPOM DIY in monitoring snacks in DIY Province are: recruiting competent people, working with other agencies, educating street food traders. However, this role has not been running optimally. he results of the research have also carried out several law enforcement efforts that have been carried out by Satpol PP, namely: supervising and coaching street food traders, destroying products, imposing administrative sanctions. BPOM should educate more street vendors who are not licensed, Satpol PP is also more proactive in enforcing the law on snack food traders who do not have distribution permits and also for business people to comply with regulations.
