Abstract
In Klaten Regency, one of the types of gambling that is still often found today is cockfighting gambling. This frequent cockfighting gambling certainly disturbs the local community. The perpetrators certainly have factors that cause them to engage in cockfighting and looking for these requires a connection with criminology. Therefore, the aim of this research is to obtain data and analyze the factors causing cockfighting in Klaten using a criminological perspective. The research method used is empirical which focuses on social facts. The results of this research are that economic factors are associated with anomie theory, environmental factors are associated with differential association theory, and control factors from society are associated with social control theory.
