Abstract

Bullying in children is still often found in schools and can certainly change the character and behavior due to bullying that occurs in the child. The Regional Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAID) of Yogyakarta City is needed to handle and prevent this from happening again, especially in the school environment. Coping practices such as handling and prevention are needed so that children's education and character are not affected by this bullying act. The Regional Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAID) of Yogyakarta City has raised five strategic issues to protect children's rights. These strategic issues namely special protection of children, child pornography, prevention and handling of bullying in schools and Islamic boarding schools, friendly city physical spaces for adolescents and child mental health and bullying are priorities of the Regional Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAID) of Yogyakarta City.
