Abstract

Technological Development is not something that humans should take lightly, because technological developments do not always have a positive impact in supporting human activities, but there are also negative impacts that arise such as the emergence of crimes with increasingly modern modus operandi, one of which is online prostitution. Types The research used is juridical empirical, which is research that focuses on social facts in accordance with the author's research title. This research was conducted directly with respondents to obtain primary and secondary data. Police efforts to enforce online prostitution in the city of Yogyakarta are carried out through non-penal and penal efforts. The police's obstacles in enforcing online prostitution in the city of Yogyakarta include the lack of police officers who carry out cyber patrols, the absence of a special unit to handle cyber crime issues, the prosecutor's inconsistency in requesting additional information, and prostitutes who come from outside.
